KABIR SINGH FILM POSTER IN PHTOTOSHOP | DOUBLE EXPOSURE EFFECT | SHAHID KAPOOR MOVIE POSTER

We are going to create Bollywood movie Kabir Singh poster using various Photoshop techniques
We’ll be using the

  • double exposure
  • layer masking
  • layer blending
  • Layer clipping masking
  • color correction

So we are going to create this film poster using Photoshop and
We are actually going to use double exposure techniques in Photoshop before Making this film poster
So you can see that this is the poster of Bollywood firm
kabir Singh Starring shahid Kapoor and we are going to create
This film poster from this image

http://bit.ly/2XkyvXv
so if you didn’t see that how to remove the background you can see the
Link here, or you can see that there is another video. I need to remove the background
Okay, so I’m going to remove the background using the quick selection tool
Okay, so just drag to the actors
foreground area
Now this is okay and
We can use the refine edge tool
to
sharpen the hairs
too sharply remove the background you can use this so, you know the smart radius and just

So in addition we need some more images
But initially we are just using this
Image so we are quickly starting this poster designing. So first of all, what we have to do is
if we want to make an image film poster exactly like this, I am just
Duplicating this you need as our poster
Okay, so
Now we actually don’t need the original so I’m just
closing this
Okay, so this is our copy or this is the reference as well as in this image
We are going to createFilm poster and we’ll be using this image for that particular thing. So
I’m just dragging this using the move tool here
Okay, so we want to make this
exactly like this so
Before we are scaling and matching this to this original image
I am going to remove the background of this particular image. So
Before I remove the background I am
Taking a backup of this layer. So just right click and duplicate this layer
Okay, and I’m hiding this
Okay. Now what we can do is we can typically arise the background using
Our background eraser tool, there are so many techniques that we have already learned

  • on selection and just remove the background
    so select
In verse and remove the background
    Okay, just diselect
So we have to scale this to match exactly like this size. So I’m just selecting
Scale we know that go to free transform tool and just scale
    Using this
Proportion enable Indian aspect ratio, which is enabled it and I’m scaling those approximately
    140 maybe the correct
You can do that, we have to make an initial color correction for this level. Okay, so we will be using image
    adjustment levels
And this here or we actually need not eleven, see how it will work
    See Auto level
This is okay. And we are also using
    Auto
tone to match the tone and auto contrast
So I am taking the backup of this narrows. Also just duplicate this layer
Okay, so we have this one. Okay, now we don’t need this and we just need this one
Okay, so I’m just hiding this
So here what we actually need is we have to make
Other images to bring inside this and we’ll be using the clipping mask techniques
So let me open another images
First I will be opening this one
    Again so this image and
I actually don’t need to remove the background and all focus. I’m just
Dragging this image to here. Okay
    Let me close this
Okay, I need to scale this so edit free transform
    Maintain aspect ratio
    I
    applied this
now what we can do is we have to
Put this image into this. Okay, so
for the time being we have to put this image
Inside this for that. What we can do is you can just right click here and
Enable create clipping mask. So this will come inside that
And again, these areas are the so for We are using the masking tool. So
    Enable the mask and
    here
    we will be using
the masking techniques so for that
we’ll be using the brush and
Make sure that we have enabled the mask mode. And now what I am going to do is I’m just
    Going this
    So I can remove
And if you wanted to make little larger
    Let me just
And now we have to bring another image, so I’m just opening another image from
    here
So this image and again, I’m not going to crop and all I’m just drag this here, okay
But if all this will come as a clipping mask see you can see that
see, this is above this layer so 25 will come as a clippled mask and other if you want draw can just handle we can just
Release the clipping mask and we can do it manually
See enable the mask and I’m just pressing this see make sure that you have selected black as a foreground
    using the mask
So now we need to bring another image, so I’m just opening another image which is I
    Just drag this
    Now just click this and
    Increase the opacity
So we got it and now we can actually
right click and create clipping mask. Okay. So this is you clip into this. So, let me see. How the skin
so you got these three things and
Now we can use the mask for this layer also select this mask and start brushing
    So if got this
And now we have to actually blend all this I mean students so we have to use these
transparency methods which actually we learnt
    in my
Film poster design series. You just go here and click here
You can select that particular video and learn more about how to use the layer transparency method
And now the layer Crippin masking is over. Now. We have to use the layer blending occur. So if you haven’t seen the layer blending
If you haven’t seen my previous video about a layer blending
you can go here and click and watch that video, which is actually my film poster designing 4th chapter and you can
Watch it to learn more about how to use the layer blending method
So now this is the time to use the transparency mode for these layers
So this is the layer where we actually clip with all these three layers you do
    ok, so
This is the master layer where we actually clip all these three layers ok
now what we can do is
Say if you want you can actually reorder this
    This should come first
    Okay, this is
Okay now first I’ll give blending mode for this particular layer and using
liener dodge add so this will glow like this or if you can try different
    blending methods
Softlight is the overlays there or else hard light
so here I am actually using the
hard light and for this I’m using
Let me see it only works linear dodge, it doesn’t work color dodge
    I think
    Linear dodge is fine here
    And
For this layer, we actually need a little bit of the shirt has to show you so
    Using a mask again
Is the brush and just show this shirt’s choler
    Little Ok.. so
    Just
See this image is so blurred so we have to make this
A little bit sharp and see you can see that this thing is so sharp
And so I’m going to sharpen this so before that I am taking a duplicate of this
Okay, now this particular layer I am applying a filter here so go to the filter
Go to other and apply high pass
    So this will actually see
Upon adjusting the radius, This will actually make the edges of the image more sharp. So will be typing it as three
okay, so you can see that this image is
Edges are so sharp on him. Okay
Click, okay. So now you’ll be getting like this and here we are going to apply a layer transparency, which is
    vivid light
See now you can see that this image is sharpened
See without this just like this
This if you want you can reduce the amount a little bit to 70
    Maybe okay
    okay, so C compile this
    They got it like this
Now what we are going to do is we have you can see that here there is this muscle failures also
Greenish, so we are going to do laughs with that. I am selecting this layer again and just duplicating this
Okay, and now what I’m going to do is I am applying another filter here
which is cloud so before making
The cloud effect which is such an underground. Okay, so before making
the cloud effect what we can do is so we can
See I’m selecting this so I’m going to applying another
Filter for this layer now. We are going to apply filter
    Filter render and clouds
So I’ll be getting a cloud here. So this is say
    normal
    This is image. Okay
Now we have to click mask this to this layer. So right click here
Clipping mask we got it like this. Now. What I’m going to do is I am applying the mask. So apply mask
    here and
Just use the brush tool it black here
I applay another layer transparency mode for you or hard light
So now we have to do some color correction techniques for this particular poster so
    we already I
already explained about variouscolor correction techniques using adjustment layer in my previous chapter so which is actually
Film poster design inception before I will seen that separate you can click here and watch that video. Anyway, I’m going to
    teach you again that
Adjustment layer effects. Anyway, I’m going to say if you want to see that particular chapter. You can click here and watchwas
    Different layer transparency blending options
For this particular image am teaching it again
So for that, I selected this and had you are just in the per se I’m using the vibrance
So increase the vibrance maximum it’s gonna be getting much color
And saturation if you wanna can just reduce to minus five
Okay, so we got it like this. And now what I’m going to do is I’m playing the levels
so in this level you can use the increase contrast method and
increase Contrast to contrast free. So increase contrast one is okay
And now a apply again the levels and curves
    because linear curve is
    Linear contrast will be fine
    so we got
    Something like this
See we have read these three if you want more
Accurate you can apply so many effects. See now. We actually call the image like this
So we can play another color lookup
color lookup image.. okay, so there are so many color lookup techniques that you can apply
So fall colors I use it here so we will get in this so we are a definition stage of this exercise
We have almost done this and here actually
We need to see on the swords and there is so much of glow here
So we are going to create that for that. We are selecting this layer and duplicating
Once again, I duplicated it this okay. Am I playing a mask? And
Here the painting are using black color
Gained I don’t need these areas to be factored. So I’m just
    increasing brush size and
    Just mask these much of
We’re on thiis to be better
    Okay, so
    Now see
You see earlier, so I’m switching this to here. Okay. Now what I’m going to do is I am
Increasing the sharpness for that. I’m using a sharp tool here and applying the strength
    just sharpen this
Don’t do much just drag a sure, okay
    And now
CV it was a pin light instead of that. We’ll be using the
Sorry instead of that using the linear dodge and you can increase this to fifty or something
if it is, okay, then the screen is mine and
We have to add some more color to this so just select this layer only and apply
    the image adjustment color balance
    Okay, just add green
So now we have got the final output of the
    Film poster of Bollywood movie
Kabir Singh starring Shahid Kapoor. So this is the final you can see in full screen
